Bakoven is a small, exclusive seaside suburb located just beyond Camps Bay en route to Llandudno and Hout Bay. Most accommodation is within easy walking distance of Bakoven Beach, a secluded cove defined by enormous granite boulders and sheltered crystal waters.

Below Victoria Road, the homes are mainly charming seaside bungalows giving the area a casual village-like feel, where the neighbours all know one another and the children play together in the quiet streets.

Above Victoria Road, Bakoven merges with Camps Bay and offers more posh and luxurious holiday accommodation. All of our villas have views across the Atlantic Ocean and the towering buttresses of the Twelve Apostles.

There are no shops or restaurants in Bakoven, but Camps Bay is just a short distance along the coast and has all the facilities you'll need for a relaxing, hassle-free holiday.

Cape Town city centre and the V&A Waterfront are an easy drive over the saddle of Kloof Nek, while a spectacular drive along the coast in the other direction will lead you to magical Llandudno and the seaside village of Hout Bay.
