The world’s largest mining investment event is set to take place in February 2020. The African Mining Indaba will return to Cape Town from Monday, 3 to Thursday, 6 February 2020. Thousands of investors, engineers, executives, ministers and mining stakeholders will gather at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) for this annual event.

African Mining Indaba information
The 2019 African Mining Indaba attracted 6192 attendees from around the world and marked the 25th anniversary of the event. The organisers are planning a bigger Indaba for 2020, with more space being allocated to junior and mid-tier showcases and investors. Numerous discussions and seminars will be hosted by senior government officials, mining executives and international investors.
These topics of discussion will address the mining industry’s role in sustainability, climate change and investment potential. Speakers will also discuss issues such as price volatility, mining fundamentals, investor risks, economic stability, attracting younger investors and promoting diversity in the industry for the good of the African continent.
The 2020 Indaba will dedicate two full days to digital case studies and showcases of the latest mining technologies. This will outline the future of mining in Africa and give attendees an insight into what may come. Tickets are available on the African Mining Indaba website – early bird rates apply until 24 November 2019, after which standard rates will come into effect.
