Simon’s Town is also the home of the South African navy and the SA Navy Museum, which is housed in the original Dockyard Storehouse dating back to the 1700’s.
The warmer Indian Ocean makes swimming a fun holiday activity at any of the beaches near Simon’s Town – be it Fish Hoek, Glencairn or Boulder’s Beach, where you will also get a chance to frolic on the beach and swim with the resident African Penguin colony!
