The living and dining area is all open plan, with a large self-catering kitchen at one end of the room, a dining room with seating for 8 guests in the middle and a TV lounge with a leather couch and wood-burning fireplace at the far end. Sliding doors provide outdoor access on both sides of the room, one side opens onto a sheltered courtyard, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, whilst the other side has a patio lounge, sun loungers and steps which lead down to the garden and swimming pool.

All four of the bedrooms are spacious, decorated in pale tones and have luxurious cotton linen to promote a good night’s rest. The first two bedrooms have King-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The third bedroom has a Queen-size bed and the fourth bedroom has a single bed, ideal for a child.

There are plenty of family friendly activities nearby, such has horseback riding on Noordhoek Beach, dining at the local restaurant the Red Herring, going for a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak or visiting the World of Birds. On Saturday’s there is also a lovely market in Hout Bay where you can sample local food, buy some souvenirs and enjoy the views.
