A wide seaside promenade runs from the Waterfront past Mouille Point and Sea Point attracting joggers, strollers, hand-in-hand lovers and families.

There are views everywhere: the deep blue ocean stretches out past Robben Island and Table Bay while the steep slopes of Signal Hill and Lion’s Head stand guard over the coastline, giving some shelter from prevailing winds, especially Cape Town’s infamous summer South-Easter.
