About Me

Born in Cape Town to German parents, Christine dabbled in accountancy before - to use her memorable phrase - “the flame of my passion for hospitality was ignited”. She subsequently embarked on a series of globe-trotting adventures, mixing accountancy work with stints at various hotels and even landed up living on an island in Thailand.

But the natural beauty of Cape Town was always going to drag her back to Africa and on her return Christine threw herself wholeheartedly into tourism and now boasts 9 years of experience in the villa business. “I did everything from guest relations to overseeing housekeeping and property management” she explains, “and this is where I learnt how to provide a great service to holiday makers.”

Upbeat, optimistic and rarely without a smile on her face, Christine is a key member of the Cape Town Villas team - she doesn’t plan on leaving the Mother City any time soon, though snow boarding at Lake Tahoe is next on her list ...
