Broadacres is a large and comfortable family home perfect for families with young children. Set on an acre in the somewhat rural outskirts of Constantia, the house offers complete privacy, plenty of space and relaxed indoor and outdoor living, all within easy driving distance of the centre of Cape Town and its many attractions.
The home is designed for casual entertaining and laid-back living with flowing living spaces, clean finishes, modern fittings and a hint of countryside charm. Natural materials have been used throughout to give the house a luxurious yet unpretentious feel.
There are five bedrooms which can easily accommodate 9 people in total. More beds can be added on request. The master bedroom is upstairs with an en-suite bathroom, dressing room and private balcony. The downstairs bedrooms are summery and overlook the garden.
The living and dining areas are extremely spacious, open plan and informal. There is also a formal dining room and a separate family room. Upstairs is a large games room with satellite TV, pool table and a sitting area.
The expansive outdoor spaces will delight young and old alike with a shaded entertainment patio, perfect for lounging and alfresco dining. A volley ball court, swimming pool, sunken trampoline and playground facilities are set in the spacious lawn.
There is also a separate guest cottage that sleeps 2 and has a bedroom, separate kitchenette, living area and its own wrap-around patio flowing onto the garden.
