The main house is a floating glass and steel box, accessed via a timber walkway, almost at canopy height with the surrounding mountain pine trees, with city and harbour views shimmering in the distance.
All four en suite bedrooms are equally spacious and feel secluded from one another, each featuring glass walls which enable superb mountain or garden views through the treetops. Every room has a small outside deck with table and 2 chairs for secluded al fresco dining. The fourth bedroom is set in a separate tranquil building at the end of the garden, reached via a charming stone pathway. All bedrooms have king-size extra-length beds dressed in crisp white linen, satellite TV with DVD player, a small safe and air-conditioning. The bathrooms feature marble and polished concrete surfaces.
The public spaces are surrounded by stunning views, with floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding timber shutters to ensure total privacy and provide shade. The main dining room seats 10-12 people and a comfortable lounge with fireplace is alongside this. The semi-open-plan kitchen is well equipped and features more floor-to-ceiling views. On the ground floor level is a smaller dining room and kitchenette which flow out to a large deck alongside the pool.
The indigenous rock garden, set over multiple levels, is lush and dense with plenty of trees providing privacy and shade. A heated rim-flow pool that appears to merge with a gurgling mountain stream adds to the sense of serenity.

Bedroom 2 This en suite bedroom is located on the middle floor level. Two walls are made of glass enabling views across the garden and mountain slopes. The glass doors open onto a wooden balcony with a small table and two chairs. The extra length king sized bed is set in a large wooden base. The crisp white linen is complemented by a solid dark wood wall and large bright modern painting. There is a satellite TV and DVD player, air conditioning and a small safe. Bedroom 3 This en suite bedroom is located on the ground floor level opening onto a wooden balcony overlooking the pool. The balcony has an outdoor table and 2 chairs. Two walls of the bedroom are made of glass enabling views through the trees over the mountain slopes. There is an extra length king sized bed with a free standing dark wood headboard. Crisp white linen and light flooring complement the dark wood and bright modern artworks. There is a satellite TV and DVD player, air conditioning and a safe. Bedroom 4 This en suite bedroom is located at the end of the garden in its own tranquil building reached via a winding stone path alongside a little stream. Ample glass windows and walls allow the feeling of being surrounded by trees and ferns. There is an outdoor table and two chairs on a small side patio at the entrance to the bedroom. The bedroom has an extra length king sized bed set in a large wooden base. Solid dark wood cupboards and side tables are complemented by light coloured walls, floors and modern artworks. There are two comfortable armchairs, satellite TV and DVD player, air conditioning and a small safe. The main dining and living room are located on the entrance level. The floor is beautiful dark polished wood and both long walls on either side of the area are made of glass enabling spectacular views in all directions through the beautiful mountain pines and across to Table Bay. There is a large rectangular wood table seating up to 12 people. Parallel to this is a large soft sofa positioned for relaxing and admiring the view over the city. At the far end of this living area is a large wooden room divider with a fireplace and two comfortable arm chairs. This room divider separates the living area from the kitchen. Downstairs, on the ground floor level, is another smaller kitchen and high wooden breakfast counter with bar stools which opens out to the patio and pool area. There is also a a separate lounge area next to the second bedroom. |

The garden is set across different levels. On the entrance level there is a patio leading off the living area with a large wooden deck, outdoor chairs and a parasol. There are splendid views over the city and Table Bay. On the ground floor level is a large sunbathing patio leading out to a spectacular rim flow pool. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool area and there is a portable Weber barbeque. There is a small mountain stream that flows down next to the fourth bedroom area. The garden features plenty of natural rock and diverse local plants. Mountain pine trees provide ample shade. |
