Neither photos nor words can do this exquisite beach house justice...it is a place to be experienced in its entirety. On entering, one's senses are imbued with serenity and beauty - the interiors are flooded with the breathtaking turquoise and white of the bay; the sound of the sea; the scent of the flowers and aromatherapy throughout; the texture of driftwood, pale linen and cotton, stone and timber; all invoking an intensely pleasurable sense of peace.
Pebbled steps lead down through a water meditation garden to the antique carved doors leading into the heart of the house. The entrance level, with its floors a combination of matt chalky marble and solid White Ash, is entirely open-plan and and opens to the ocean via large sliding doors onto a white timber terrace. It has an inviting living area with huge white couches around an open fireplace and plasma television, a chunky minimalist timber dining table and a cafe-style kitchen.
A wide internal staircase leads down to the middle bedroom level, containing the truly spectacular main bedroom suite and three other bedrooms. The stairs lead further down to the ground level, which also has a spacious open-plan living area with couches around a fireplace and plasma television, and smaller (but equally stylish) kitchen and a secondary bedroom suite. Sliding doors open onto the pool area with its fat white floor mattresses, a canopied built in sleeping platform, a cooking area and another gorgeous set of carved antique doors leading directly to the beach.
The beach house is ideal for honeymooners, two couple (each couple would have complete privacy with each having a floor to themselves), a large group of friends or two families, where each family would have its own cooking and entertaining space. This villa is highly recommended.

Bedroom 1 The fantastically romantic main bedroom suite runs the full length of the beach-facing facade on the middle level, completely private yet with breathtaking close-up views of the cove. The canopied kingsize bed sits on a low platform, and faces out to sea. To its right is an intimate lounge area with white sofas arranged around a feature pebble gas fireplace and plasma tv. The entire area is tiled in matt white marble and opens onto a slim balcony elevated above the pool area & the beach beyond, screened by white American shutters. There are two bathrooms, one located behind the lounge looking through an internal window out to sea, and another enclosed behind the bed area. Bedroom 2 Bedroom 2 is the only bedroom located on the ground level and, though it doesn't have the views of the main bedroom directly above, it opens through big sliding doors onto two giant palms growing through the pool deck. It also has the advange of having its own kitchen, dining and lounge area, all opening onto the pool deck with direct beach access. It features a magnificent carved Indian timber four poster bed (queen size), heavily draped with white muslin, a small walk-in wardrobe with a linen and shell screen, and a spacious en suite bathroom. Bedroom 3 This bedroom, located on the middle level, has a king sized driftwood 4-poster bed, draped with a billowing canopy of white muslin. It has a partial sea view, yacht-style driftwood wardrobes, stone floors and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 4 Set on the middle level this bedroom is located on the side of the house and has a queen size bed built onto a driftwood platform, with a simple stick canopy lightly draped with white muslin. It is separated from Bedroom 5 by a shared bathroom. Bedroom 5 Very similar to Bedroom 4, with a double bed. It shares a bathroom with Bedroom 4. |

Bathroom 1 The main bedroom suite has two bathroom. One is completely enclosed and houses the dressing area, large vanity with single white bowl and a screened toilet. The other, a spacious wet room with a jacuzzi bath and a free shower, is partially open to the sitting area part of the suite, with sea views through an internal window. Bathroom 2 En-suite to Bedroom 2, this bathoom is completely enlosed and has stone floors, a spa bath, shower, single vanity and toilet. Bathroom 3 En-suite to Bedroom 3, this bathoom has stone floors, a spa bath, shower, single vanity and toilet. Bathroom 4 Small bathroom, shared by Bedrooms 4 and 5, with stone floors, shower, toilet and single vanity. |

There are two separate open-plan living areas. The upper one has spectacular close-up sea views and takes up the entire entrance level, opening through large glass sliding doors onto a white timber verandah overlooking the beach. Tiled throughout in matt white sandblasted marble, it consists of a cafe-style kichen, a sitting area furnished with squashy white couches arranged around an open sandstone fireplace, and a chunky refectory-style dining table. Simple, billowing white curtains, loose rugs, an organic tree trunk side table with display of treasures, lazy ceiling fans, orchids and cutwork iron lanterns all enhance the ambiance. On the lower level a secondary living area, slightly smaller, has the same components and opens via glass sliding doors onto the timber pool deck. A cosy sitting area near to the deck has a entire wall of driftwood planks with a large plasma television in the centre. There's another chunky, minimalist timber table and benches and a smaller cafe-style kitchen. |

There are two café-style kitchens, both equally stylish with whitewashed timber cupboards, white caesar-stone counter tops, matt marble floors, Eurogas hob, stainless steel microwave and dishwasher. The larger one, on the upper main living level, also has an oven and cappuchino machine. The smaller kitchen on the lower level has a wine cooler and white ostrich skin bar stools. There is a separate laundry room. |

The house is situated between the beach road and Glen Beach, and is entered via weathered antique doors and stairs leading down through a zen garden with water features, buddhas and white pebbles. Off the living area on the entrance level is a white timber verandah with wonderful beach and sea views. To the side of the house is a raw sandstone wall with stone blocks leading to a secluded stone outdoor shower. In front of the house is a timber pool deck with oversized fat white mattresses, some arranged on a sleeping platform with a shade canopy stretched overhead. There is an outdoor barbeque, a white cement table and gorgeous carved antique Indian doors leading to the beach. |
