One of the few remaining original Victorian homes in Camps Bay, Tridents View has been beautifully renovated to maximize its spectacular views and supply of soft natural light. Professionally decorated in a charming French Provencal style, this villa displays an exquisite combination of polished oak floors, rich fabrics and crisp white linen, interspersed with splashes of cream, chocolate-brown and pistachio. The high ceilings, sumptuous decor and comfortable, upholstered furniture make the interior of this home a wonderful place to return home to after a day at the beach, while the outside courtyard, shaded by a gnarled, overhanging vine, is an inviting spot to escape from the midday heat and read a book or take a nap.
Access to Tridents View villa is from a quiet street set just one road back from Camps Bay beach, via a flight of pebbled stairs lined with sweet-scented flowering plants. This gives Tridents View the unusual advantage of not only being located within a few minutes walk from the beach but of also possessing a breathtaking sea view usually only found in those houses situated higher up in Camps Bay.
The house is exceptionally spacious, primarily due to the original high ceilings, and it is constantly filled with sunlight and fresh air. The villa features four bedrooms in the main house and a separate suite located one level lower, which opens onto a grassy patio with a swimming pool perfect for having a quick dip to cool down after a day spent on the beach. With its excellent location, tasteful decor and magnificent sea views, Tridents View villa provides everything the discerning traveler could wish for.
Due to its delicate furnishings and lack of safety precautions around the pool and stairs, Tridents View unfortunately does not accommodate young children.
