Bedroom 1

Filled with streaming sunlight and fresh air, the spacious master bedroom is a feast for the senses. Whilst lying in the luxurious king-sized bed with cushioned headboard, one can enjoy a spectacular unobstructed view of Lions Head mountain, with glimpses of the white sands of Camps Bay beach through a row of palm trees. The bedroom is predominantly white, with smatterings of gold and mauve, and it is furnished with a fitted carpet, a large flat screen television, heavy silk curtains and a chaise longue. There is also air conditioning and under floor heating, providing comfort in any type of weather. Sliding glass doors open directly from the bedroom onto a tiled patio overlooking the pool. The bathroom is en-suite and open-plan and there is a walk-in dressing area between the two rooms with a dressing table and large built-in cupboards.

Bedroom 2

Although smaller than the master bedroom, this room, which is decorated in shades of silver, blue and caramel, is equally as delightful. It features a queen-sized bed with cushioned headboard, fitted carpeting, silk curtains, built-in wardrobes, air conditioning and under floor heating. Through the window which overlooks the garden, one can enjoy a lovely view of the majestic 12 Apostles mountain range. The bathroom is en-suite.

Bedroom 3

This small and cosy bedroom is situated adjacent to bedroom 2 and also overlooks the garden. It is decorated in hues of chocolate and teal, and it is furnished with a double bed, fitted carpeting and an air conditioning unit.

Bathroom 1

En-suite to the master bedroom, this bathroom has a large oval spa bath, a spacious shower, a double vanity, and a separate toilet and bidet. Although it is open-plan to the main bedroom, there is a fold-out screen to provide privacy. The bathroom opens through sliding glass doors onto a balcony overlooking the garden.

Bathroom 2

This bathroom is en-suite to bedroom 2 and contains a large oval bath with overhanging shower, a single vanity and a toilet. Through the window of this room one can enjoy a spectacular view of Lions Head mountain.

Bathroom 3

This bathroom, which is used by the occupants of bedroom 3, is separate to the bedroom and contains a toilet, a single vanity and a shower.

Guest Bathroom

On the entrance level there is a stylish guest bathroom with frosted glass mosaics and stone-tiled walls, containing a toilet and a marble hand washbasin

Other Rooms

Upon entering the house, one is faced with a formal lounge and dining room to the left, a guest bathroom directly ahead and an open-plan kitchen and informal lounge to the right. The formal lounge has polished timber flooring and is furnished with a large brown leather sofa, two cream armchairs and a cream ottoman. Set in the wall is a large wood-burning fireplace to create a cosy atmosphere on a chilly night. From the lounge, one can enjoy a view of the immaculate garden through a floor-to-ceiling window flanked by honey-gold silk curtains. Adjacent and open-plan to the lounge is a dining room containing an 8-seater glass-topped table surrounded by 8 upholstered chairs. Large windows next to the dining table look upon outside courtyard and sparkling blue pool. Large sliding wooden doors can be closed to separate this area from the rest of the house, creating a comfortable and intimate atmosphere.

The informal lounge, which is situated adjacent to the kitchen, is furnished with a large cream sofa, a carpeted floor and two wicker armchairs with brown suede cushions. On the wall opposite the sofa is mounted a vast flat screen plasma television, complete with satellite and a DVD player. Sliding glass doors framed by sea green silk curtains open onto a tiled outside patio where the pool is located.

Kitchen

On the right side of the large front door is the open-plan kitchen and informal TV lounge. The state-of the art kitchen displays a tasteful combination of pale wood, glass-topped surfaces and stainless steel appliances. In the centre of the kitchen is a large stainless-steel counter upon which is a gas stove. There is also a large fridge, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, an oven, and a dishwasher. The ample cupboard space and room to move around make this an ideal place for creating extravagant meals.

Outside

On the lower level, the informal lounge opens onto a travertine-tiled patio with two wooden sun loungers, fringed by lush flowering vegetation. Situated a few steps above this area is a large sparkling blue pool, next to which there is a raised timber platform with two additional sun loungers. From here one can enjoy breathtaking views of Lions Head mountain straight ahead, with glimpses through palm fronds of the white sands of Camps Bay beach to the left.
Between the front gate and the front door of the house there is an immaculate lawn fringed by colourful flowerbeds, where one can lie and soak up the sun, or kick a ball around. This merges with a shaded tiled area with a table, a sofa and two armchairs, for enjoying outdoor meals.

Staff

Serviced Monday to Friday by Mavis, the live-in housekeeper, from 9am to 4pm. Mavis has her own living quarters and entrance.

Security

This villa features a superior alarm system and a video intercom in the kitchen and the master bedroom used for identifying visitors before allowing them access through the front gate.
