Other Rooms

Glen Beach Bungalow has an open-plan living area - consisting of the lounge, dining area and kitchen. It is a vision of bleached driftwood and rough cement surfaces contrasting sublimely against crisp white linen, smooth pebbles and polished timber. The lounge is furnished with an L-shaped cream suede sofa scattered with tasteful animal hide cushions, a suede armchair, a glass-topped coffee table, white louvered shutters for afternoon sun control, and a large flat-screen TV. A fireplace set in the pebbled stone wall brings warmth to the living area during chilly winter nights and an animal hide placed on the bleached wooden floorboards adds a touch of Africa.

The dining area is adjacent to the lounge and contains a long oak table flanked by long benches with a chair at either end, which can seat approximately 12 people. Like the kitchen, the dining area features polished travertine floor tiles. Both the dining area and the lounge open onto the patio through sliding glass doors and they both have spectacular views of the sea. As a result of these glass doors one entire side of the living area is glass, resulting in it having a constant supply of fresh air and sunlight.

Kitchen

The contemporary galley-style kitchen, which is open-plan to the lounge and dining area, displays a stylish combination of dark timber cupboards, polished marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything the regular cook might require, including an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, stove and a dishwashing machine. There is a Caesar-stone cafe-bar where one can enjoy a quick snack, and there is ample cupboard and drawer space.

Outside

The living area opens through sliding glass doors onto an outdoor patio featuring stone floor tiles and a 7-metre long heated turquoise swimming pool on a timber deck. This area is furnished with three sun loungers, a sofa and two armchairs, as well as a coffee table and a parasol to provide shade during the heat of the afternoon.

Parking

There is no garage, but there is parking space available on the street.
