Bedroom 1

Situated on the lower level of the Glen Beach Apartment 1, the master bedroom of this villa is extremely spacious, as is its open-plan en-suite bathroom. With travertine floor tiles, a king-size bed with wooden headboard, a wicker chaise longue, a flat-screen TV and ample wardrobe space, this room provides everything one could wish for. One side of the room has sliding glass doors which open onto a sunny stone-tiled patio, while the other end leads into a beautiful, open-plan bathroom. The colour scheme of this room is dominated by white interspersed with splashes of ruby and violet; it is filled during the day with wonderful natural light and it has fantastic sea views.

Bedroom 2

With twin single beds scattered with crimson cushions, sliding doors opening onto a grassy terrace, and lovely mountain views, this room is small but exceedingly pleasant. Situated on the upper level, it receives gentle morning sunshine and has an en-suite bathroom. Like bedrooms 3 and 4, which are both found on the upper level of the apartment, this room has pale grey timber flooring.

Bedroom 3

Exceptionally light and airy, this bedroom is also situated on the upper level of the apartment and, like the second bedroom, it opens onto the grass-covered terrace with wonderful mountain views. It has a double bed, a large wardrobe and a flat-screen TV.

Bedroom 4

This bedroom has twin single beds, a large wardrobe and a flat screen TV. Like the other two bedrooms on the upper level, it opens onto the lawn terrace and has a lovely view of the mountain. Heavy teak sliding doors separate this bedroom from the upstairs sitting lounge.

Bathroom 1

The master bathroom is open-plan and exceptionally spacious. It has a double vanity, an oval bath and a large shower, with a separate toilet and bidet. The walls are tiled with porcelain, whilst the floor is covered by the same travertine tiles of the bedroom, creating a sense of continuity. The bath and counter tops are decorated with turquoise glass mosaics.

Bathroom 2

Like the master bathroom, this en-suite bathroom has travertine floor tiles, porcelain wall tiles and is tastefully decorated with turquoise mosaics. It has a toilet, a basin, an oval bath and a shower.

Bathroom 3

This roomy bathroom is shared by bedrooms 3 and 4 and contains a double vanity, a toilet and a large shower. Like the other bathrooms, it is decorated with glass mosaics and has a travertine-tiled floor.

Guest Bathroom

Separate guest toilet and hand washbasin on the upper level.

Other Rooms

The flowing open-plan living area on the upper level - consisting of the dining area, lounge and kitchen - has dark timber floorboards and opens onto the decked verandah, with fantastic sea views. During the morning and evening it is infused with golden sunlight, but there are tall louvered timber shutters for afternoon sun control. The lounge is furnished with a soft, suede L-shaped couch, a dark timber coffee table and a suede ottoman. There is also a fireplace and a flat-screen television. The dining area, which is situated between the lounge and the kitchen, contains an 8-seater dining table, with space for an additional 4 seats if you are planning on entertaining.

Leading off from bedroom 4 on the upper level is a sitting area with an ottoman, a leather couch, 2 armchairs and a solid timber table. There is a radio, but no television, making this a good place to escape from the sun and curl up with a book. On the lower level there is a second lounge area, with a soft, brown leather sofa, a tasteful animal-hide ottoman, an armchair, a superior sound system and a large plasma television complete with satellite connection and a DVD player. Leading off from the lounge is a work-station with a long timber desk, two office chairs and plug points for connection of electronic equipment.

The kitchen in Glen Beach Apartment 1 displays a fabulous combination of polished teak counter tops and frosted glass. There is a toaster, coffee machine, microwave-oven combo, oven, stove and kettle, with generous cupboard space. The shelves and cupboards are made from sturdy teak, and there is a cafe bar with a cream-coloured Caesar-stone counter top at which one can sit and eat a quick snack.

Outside

On the lower level of Glen Beach Apartment 1, the master bedroom opens through glass sliding doors onto a sunny, stone-tiled patio with a deep blue pool, 2 sun loungers, a canvas parasol, and tall wooden shutters which can be adjusted to control the amount of light entering the bedroom. Stairs on the far right-hand side of the deck lead to the lawn-covered patio of the upper area.
The open-plan dining area leads onto a timber deck overlooking the ocean with 4 deck chairs, a gas barbeque, and the same tall wooden shutters found on the lower terrace.
